Russian River is amazing, I wish I could have made it to there brewery when i was down there a few years back. I seem to remember having tried a double of the Rasputin at some point...

Aint nothin' wrong with being a beer snob. Has anyone tried to the new Firestone Walker Solstice? Pretty fucking good IMO for a seasonal.

Life is far too short for cheap booze.

I will abstain from drinking if my choices are Bud Light/Natty type beers.

You know what, this is true. But as a wise hill billy in the beer aisle once told me, while he was picking up a 30 rack of bud, getting drunk is getting drunk, don't matter how you get there. ;)

Denker - Delirium Tremens is a spectacular beer.

Z31/regnu - I'm with you both on those comments.

Recently discovered at my local craft-brew pub:
                        Unibroue Raftman

I've had a few of Unibroues beers (maudite, La Fin Du Monde), but this was my first experience with the Raftman.

One beer that, while it isn't super high priced or fancy, that is surprisingly pleasing to me is the new "old" ("new" old??) Schlitz. The original recipe has been brought back and is a good, refreshing, summertime, working on the e30, type beer.

                                45 bucks.
                                got a lil of everything.
some i remembered had been refered to in this thread, others by friends, and a few cause i felt darring. all ranged from 1.50-3.00/bottle.
                                tonight should be nice.
