    Germany

It doesn't matter where you go.....at this point there are two types of soldiers...... The ones in Iraq, and the ones getting ready to go to Iraq. Units that are deploying have priority on all new soldiers

Your MOS is the key. All units need pencil pushers, cooks, medics, fuelers, and commo. So if you are one of those you will have the most options. If you have a rare MOS (the kind that get bonuses) your options will be limited.

If I was going back to active duty, I would try to get into a US traing base (ie NON Deployable)

If you make it to Bamberg, I'll be there to welcome you. (current job)

Nico, Mike is just a tire changer.....BMW lets him torque a lug nut every now and then. (That lucky bitch)

Yea, I'm just hating. I'm always jealous when he tells me about the cars that he gets to drive. I'm stuck in the 90s and that bitch gets to drive the new shit.

        No biggie though, I'll have an '08 335 one day.....say 2028;)

Nico, My old lady hates the turks over here too. They are like the mexicans of California....taking up all the welfare and food stamps. errr. dont tell Mariano

i'm a 21B right now, but will be reclassing as part of the switch to active.

strongly considering 63B- i figure "mechanics" are another thing needed everywhere.

i think the turks are more bad than the mexican. most of the turks (not everyone) are talking big. where i live its very heavy but if you say something about this public then you are a "nazi" ... thats germany :)

i like some of them and maybe 2% of them are cool but the rest are assholes.

Then you are in a good position. You need to research any job that interests you. Not from the recruiter, but from soldiers that actually do the job. I was a 62B (engineer mechanic). It wasn't bad, but I did alot of late night wrenching and I lived in 10w oil. 90% of military operators beat the shit out of the stuff they drive and you will be the sucker that has to fix it.

Picking your MOS is the biggest decision you will make in the military, do your homework. Don't listen to the recuiter, he's there for the Army and his quota.
