I used to live in Montreal (where the T-Rex was designed and is built) and I've seen a bunch of them in person, both on the road and at car shows/meets. It's a car that sounds impressive when you look at the spec sheet, but looks like an overpriced, under-engineered, turd sandwich when you see it in real life. Build quality is sh1t. Fit and finish are sh1t. It looks and feels like a cheap-ass kit car someone put together in their shed (which is precisely what it is when you come to think of it). Then you see the price tag and almost crap your pants from laughing so hard.

Neither. If I were in the market for that type of car, I'd just get a proper Caterham (especially now that they're powered by those lovely Duratec engines). In every test that has pitted an Ariel Atom against a Lotus 7 clone, the 7 has come out way ahead in terms of on-the-limit handling and lap times. The T-Rex is so lousy you can't even compare it to an Ariel...let alone a 7.

It's a motorcycle with stability...that handles like ass and looks retarded. No thanks. You can pick up a nice Ducati and a pristine E30 M3 for the price of one T-Rex. You'd even have some money left over to take your G.F. with you for a Nurburgring vacation.

                        The T-Rex is a joke.
