Haha good one. Apparently I am not the only one who has noticed how much Microsoft is trying to be like Apple.

Although I use an Apple, I really do wish I could say I used Windows. Microsoft is local to me and has done a lot of great shit for our local economy. Not to mention all the charitable stuff they have done including donating computers to every school I have attended since elementary school.

The truth is, Apple is just better right now. OSX is a better operating system than Windows, hands down. If Microsoft would just simplify Windows and make it less memory hogging I would switch back.

You're right. I used to dual boot with ubuntu. Talk about a simple and stable OS. There's that Unix based thing again...

Pretty much. Microsoft has been ripping Steve Jobs off for a couple decades now.

i exaggerated a bit. With install, and then drivers and software installation, it does get very annoying.

    End of story.

i find it humourous people can take it so seriously.

of course now well get people coming back in here saying they arent.

basically if you know what you are doing, you can get either platform to do what you want. i mean they are both just tools, just learn to use 'em. its useful.

and whoever has had to restart 35 times for xp, youre an idiot.

Now, I just finished building a PC and installing windows. What a fucking pain in the ass that is. i'm like 35 restarts in, and not done yet.

The simple fact is that OSX is supreme to windows because it is Unix based. It is not only more stable, and secure, but it is much more simple. For example, when I download a pirated copy of xp in .iso format, all I need to do is burn it and I'm ready to go. If I were on my PC, I would have to go get special software to be able to burn an .iso file.

The only reason I run windows is because I have to for work.

My PC "crashed" the other day...

...I had it on my passenger seat, recording a MS datalog. realized I was going to run a red light, and slammed on the brakes HARD. I didn't run the light, but my poor IBM thinkpad flew across the car and crashed into the dash.

Windows kept going though, the only time I turn it off is if the battery runs flat. These old IBMs are fucking tanks I tell you! try that with your Fluffbook :p
