Do they both feed the intake or does say the S/C spool the turbo? I know people twin charge first generation MR2 or Corolla AE86. Been done quite a bit, HKS made a kit while back for it.

in setups like these, the SC runs the show at the bottom end and the turbo at the top. A gate controls which is in action, the setup can vary, but they are in parellel into a common intake gate

Judging by the size of the turbo, it appears to be the opposite here. It's a BIG blower and a small turbo.

retarded, IMO, to use a centrifugal blower in a twin-charged setup. that thing won't make boost until the turbo is already spooled anyway.

maybe they're trying to use the small turbo to handle the low-end, but i say that's the bass-ackwards way about it, as the hotside is gonna limit things...

the way that HKS did it with the 4AGZE years ago is still the best IMO. have the blower push into the intake manifold, with a bypass around it once boost is higher than the blower can provide (meaning, the turbo has taken over).

                    m42 + downing-atlanta + proturbo.fi... someone do it.

It still made 600hp on pump gas, so uh, yea.

Twin charging has been around for a while, it's always worked well depending on how deep your pockets are. If that weren't a requirement, everyone would set something up like this.
