Cut the guy a little slack, if he's cool with it that's all that matters. We all know it's great to have a full-on quality BMW, but some people don't need a 10/10th BMW.

We all know you live & breathe this stuff, you don't need to prove your fanhood by knocking a new guy. If you do, at least give a few specific pointers to improve his setup.

You know a lot, but let a new guy have a little room to breathe sometimes. You been really good about that lately, why go ruining it?

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

I made him an itemized list of the cause of his problems. No one can offer him any better advice then the obvious. He could not have picked a less compatible car/wheel/tire/suspension if he tried.

I mean you take this car:

With 15x8 ET0 wheels, 195/45R15 tires stretched across them, then dump it on a soft as hell Tokico eBay suspension that will blow out in a month or 2.

His end result is exactly what he should expect.

jordan does have a point. the setup looks good but im local and do alot of suspention work for friends. we can find you a stiffer suspention pretty inexpensive and install it here in GH. you should still roll your fenders though. i will be trying to have mine rolled before the paintshop so maybe when i barrow a roller you can meet me in GH or tacoma

                Jordon -

Fair enough - I see your point. I can understand where if you auto-x or do any sort of timed hobby that throwing money at new hardware would be the right answer, but for a street car if he's fine with the ride & rolling the fenders gives the tires the room they need, then that's good enough for some people.

Jparker2004 - If you get the roller thing happening, post back or PM me so I know if it's worth bothering to try & put together a day of fender rolling, or if I should just take care of my own car & be done with it.

well, i used a jack handle on my friends eta as a last resort because he needed it asap. it didnt come out bad because i took my time and had a heat gun... but for my car i will only do it right. the rest of ya should have the same mentallity for your cars. :D

Let it go. I know it is annoying, but just chalk it up to being one of the 1st few "generation gap" things to get to you.

You're old, and kids refuse to spell correctly. It's life.

I wouldn't blame it on the generation gap. I'm not a kid, but I'm only 21 and it really annoys me when people can't communicate like they should be able to. I think it's the whole IM and text messaging thing. I just refuse to conform to writing "ay, ill call u ltr".

And I have to face this at 26? I was hoping this "old" you speak of would come much later. I do, however, know I have been feeling it as of late.
