Veterans? Who all is prior or active?

Just a "Thank You!" to all who have served or are serving. You are doing or did work that goes without much recognition & so often get overlooked.

I had a conversation with someone recently who heard a Gene Simmons(IIRC) quote where he personally said how messed up we are as humans where rock stars are gods, but soldiers don't get hardly any respect. Someone correct me if I have some part of that wrong.

Anyhow - If you are/were serving, blow your own horn & post what you can as to what you did. I think just about any story of service is interesting, even if you were the company cook. You probably have some stories - share 'em.

    Again, Thanks for serving!

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

Spent four years in the USAF back in the mid 80's. I wish I had stayed in. It was good, honest work. I enjoyed my time and still miss the sound of afterburners.

Stories? How about the one involving 6 airman that we kind of kidnapped, 2 poodles and some duct tape?
