    new paint time...

so yeah it is snowing up here today and the wind has been blowing 55mph+

And the tree in our front yard fell on my roof. It doesn't look very bad but its pretty dark. There are dents all over the roof and on the hood and the paint is all scratched up now...

lol its just REALLY dirty in that pic.

And yes the home owner that we rent from is gonna have to pay to fix it. I'm really considering just taking the $ and painting it either satin or flat olive drab since I won't be DD this car as soon as I can find a replacement. Its going to be strictly a track car.

As an act of God, its going to be really hard to win that one. They could file under their home owners insurance if they have it but Im sure there is a deductible. The insurance company is going to deny it because you did not take proper procedures to prevent the damage by the storm that was broad casted on the news.

If it was done at the dealer, then they would have had to cover it because you signed your car over to them for service and they are to be in protection of your car.

Here in Miami, when the hurricanes come, the dealer will call everyone thats car can be driven to come pick up their cars. They are responsible to pick them up before the storm. The cars that could not move on their own power where either in the shop, or moved to a storage of their body shop. Customers were under the impression that their car would be protected, went to court and because the dealer told the customers to pick up their cars and did not. They are at fault for damage, not the dealer.

Good luck, if your going to push it, claim it on your personal insurance and have them go after the homeowner. Insurance companies do it every day. But be prepared to be denied for ACT of GOD.

That says your not liable for accidental damage but that does not say the homeowner is......
