Are you kidding me? This is the most crucial sport where steroids can play a factor. Steroids cant help you hit a ball. It will help you hit it further, but thats it. If a man were on steroids and increased his muscle stamina, making it so he could lift more weights, therefore increasing his strength, it effects his opponent directly. That blow might be strong enough to cause serious damage. Or safety aside, two men are grappling, that steroid use gives an unfair advantage.
And "most" of th ehome run mothafucks as you call them is an overstatement. It was a small handfull of prominent figures. There are still many clean ball players out there, just like there are many clean MMA fighters out there.Originally posted by bluntComment

it was a innapropriate statement I agree.. bringing up steroids is a hazy point of arguement. I guess Steroids will, of course, never have its place. I also understand your point regarding it in MMA however I truly do not believe that brute strength, weight etc.. wins most of these fights. You meet a solid hit from most anyone that can throw a decent heavy hand and you are done.Comment

I don't really agree with Americans being the best MMA fighters. There are plenty of good ones, and I'd say they're the best in the UFC due to the numbers, but Georges st. Pierre dominated that second fight against Hughes, and whenever he fight Serra again, I believe we'll see something similar.
Rickson Gracie is the older brother of Royce.
11-0 MMA record. Stopped fighting in 2000 I think, his son was missing, then found dead by due to an overdose. He's supposedly returning in 2008, should be great.
