I see no problems with what he did, other than how long it took him to actually do it.

I would not have killed them myself though, just aimed for the knee caps and down.

x2. That's the kind of neighbor I want.

Well, shotguns aren't nessecarily the most precise, but you knew that.

Badass anyway, My dad would do the same thing, his place got busted into in broad daylight, and they never recovered some of his stuff.

Actually I'll take it back. Most likely a good idea to make sure they are dead. This is America, the land of opportunity.. including a slam dunk lawsuit opportunity for being shot while breaking and entering.

                  Dead people can't sue.

                    Dead people's families sue.

Nope, looks like you failed to raise your kids right, and he got plugged for violating someone's home. Shit happens when you steal stuff.

Happens every day here in Texas .

Thats why auto repo guys are strapped to the hilt as they are often shot while repoing cars .
And shooting them is perfectly legal as you are "protecting" your property .

The local DA will probably crucify him. Then he will have to face lawsuits from the NAACP or MALDEF. While it is legal to use deadly force to protect third party property in Texas, I think there must be some sort of imminent threat of physical violence. that is to say that I dont think the new Castle Law applies here.

I am not a lawyer but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.
