    Chance meeting in Wendys...

So I parked at my local Wendys a couple of weeks ago. Burgertime, y0!

A guy was sitting at a window table absolutely gawking at my car as I parked.

As I walked in he asked "what Airdam is on your E30?" I told him it was stock '87 325is lip, but looked differnt because of the tucked black bumpers.

Naturally, I was shocked that a normal human knew what an E30 was, so we chatted for a bit. Turns out he was driving his Euro 323...parked on the other side of the Wendys!

The guy lives in Vancouver WA. We traded info, but of course I lost his. I invited him to R3V, really nice guy.

I wish to hell I had my camera with me. Hopefully one of you PDX guys spot him and remind him to join R3V. He had not heard of our site.

Car was a early Euro 323, Breyton kitted, on 15" 4 lug Breytons, missing the front airdam, in that odd purplish red (like Mots eggplant car). He said it was his DD...I don't remember what part of Vancouver he lived in, but I am sure he said he lived there.

Wish I would have had the damn camera!

    Luke

That's it Luke, you're banned. Get a fucking camera phone!

There are more euro 323i's in the PNW, I swear. That makes 2 that you've happened upon now, after that guy that showed up at JoshieFest last year.

Fuck. Banned again. Now I have to look at porn instead of R3V.

I HAVE a camera phone, but I left that at the shop, too.

That really was fucking odd with the guy showing up out of the blue up on Mt Bachelor...

Most likely an E30, I don't think Breyton did anything with the E21.

What does the Breyton kit and wheels look like? I did a search but only found late model e30's.

As far as I know, there was only one style of E30 Breyton kit, this one:

But I didn't know Breyton made any 4 lug wheels, so I could be wrong. That Breyton kit however, is the kit that BMP ripped off for their kit.

The wheesl would just be run of the mill basketweaves .

Also there was an early body Breyton kit .
It has the ft spoiler that kinda wrapped underneath the valance and incorporated the metal valance into its look .

You guys haven't seen this car around have you? He's from Vancouver and yes it's the guy i got my hood fins off of. This is the only picture i got of it, but would be pretty noticeable from the euro bumpers to the ix flares and the wheels. Plus the color.

That's funny. On Friday night at about 6 I was in North Tacoma around 6th and Proctor and there was a silver mtechI 323 at the stop light next to me. I was not in my e30, so I didn't even get a look from him. I wonder if he's on any forum, and if I would have happened up on him at a gas station, I'd make an offer for his car. I wonder if some people realize what they've got.

He said he was gonna put his front valence back on as soon as the weather turned into spring...there are no iX flares, BTW, those are stock fenders with Breyton skirts...show me an iX with a bumper notch that obviously fits ONLY euros...
