Its not known to be just an intruder. Earlier this month someone broke into his house and left a knife on his bed. There was also another break in earlier this month also, so this was the third in the month. The intruder cut the phone lines to the house so he couldnt call out, and there didnt look to be anything missing. Not enough info is out yet, but this is obviously a premeditated murder.

Sean Taylor hung with the wrong crowd. Sean taylor should have got out after the first two break ins, especially when a knife is left on your bed as a warning. But sean taylor didnt deserve to die. He was a bad ass player. And I hated seeing him playing for a division rival in the NFC East, in essence almost hating him in a respectful way. The way you hate anyone that is good and not on your team.

He was a young stupid guy who was doing stupid things, but has turned his life around... Too bad the intruder wouldnt let a grudge go. The grudge that was suspected to going back to the summer when someone tried to steal his two raptor ATVs, and he assaulted one man, pulled a gun on another, and threatened to kill both.

I feel sorry for his family. And I hope this turns the young stupid NFL around, after learning from this. May god rest his soul. And for those of you who said anything negative, or call him an asshole, you dont know any of these people. So those should bite their tongue.

you are right he does not deserve to die. but i will still see him as an asshole.
people dont spit in others faces and pull guns on others. this guy was an asshole, the same way many overpaid uneducated sports stars are. there are a few exceptions but a lot of pro athletes black and white (for jflips benefit) are fucked up individuals.

But also, him pulling guns on others. Looking at what happend to him lastnight, I think its safe to say that he was justified by having a gun. I really really just wish he woulda left Miami and got away from the shit. I mean he played in DC, theres no need to stay there. I dont get emotional, but it just really makes me upset that a guy with this promising of a career and future had it all taken away....Along with his life.

i guess he was fined 17k for spitting in some officials? or maybe another players face. i read about it when the news he was shot first came out. i just find it sad kids look up to guys like pro athletes. shaq is an exception. and there are many others. but you dont seem to hear about them because they arent out getting busted for rape and gun and drug possession.
pretty sad what we glorify. i was watching some interview about donny osmond. hes a pasty white washed up performer for those of you too young to have heard of him. he has a reputation as a pure wholesome "good guy". he said in this interview that when his career started to fade his manager wanted to stage a fake drug bust and have him arrested with cocaine. i guess this was suppose to legitimize him as a hollywood star. wtf????

SPitting in a persons face is wrong. You shouldnt do it to a man ever. But I think doing it in the heat of the moment on the field is different than doing it to someone on the street. Im not justifying it, and it was still wrong.

And as far as glorifying them, youre right. Someone who I see and deal with once a week or something could die, and I Dont think Id be too effected. But when an athlete dies, it actually hits me. Maybe thats something fucked up with my head though lol. And I am a little too passionate about sports I guess.

^^i spit a piece of gum at my buddy, and it hit him in the forehead, and slowly roll/sticked all the way down his face. he had a look of disbelief, but we all laughed it off b.c it was soo hilarious.

Its been tough, especially in the DC area.

Yes he made some foolish decisions, but when I heard he had died from his leg wound I was shocked. I saw the guy play live at FedEx Field when we had special passes to go onto the field, watching him was the best.

Its been a real bummer, and whats worse is just hearing about the Redskins every Sunday is going to be hard to hear. Its not the same without Taylor.
