I feel ya. Pimp C literally came from Rags to Riches, selling CD's out of his trunk... and he dies from drug overdose.... If I was rich, especially from music, any thing that would stop me from making more money would be out of my life, particularly drugs... not only can it kill him (and it did)... it could have simply destroyed his career over night.

It amazes me how these young guys cant seem to keep themselves out of trouble. Given the opportunity, how can someone not want to "rise above"? My white, suburban, middle-class upbringing cant understand how a person who grew up poor would not want to undertake some serious self-improvement. Hell, if I won the lottery and didn't have to work every day, I'd go back to school. I kick myself every day for dropping out.
