another question, I have decks and a mixer, im wondering if there is any interface that will allow me to use my computer as my reciever. Maybe a special sound card or something?

I ask because I have a decent sound system on my computer.

Use your computer as a receiver ? I am using an M-Audio Delta card with 4 in and 4 out (rca's), it can connect directly to the mixer or pre-amp (on the input) or output directly to the amp. I've recorded vinyl to the pc that way. Not sure what you meant by 'using computer as reciever' though...

more or less, i have my tables, my mixer, my computer, and my speakers.

Is there any way to connect the mixer to the computer to play it through my speakers?

I have serato. I try to get almost all my stuff on vinyl then upload it to serato just for ease. Plus that way once i get tired of the record i can sell it off. But yes cdj1000's are taking over the club world. All the bass in the world will not make one of those miss a beat. Unlike tables. The con to that is you will never get the control over your music like you will with decks. Its not gonna happen Vinyl ftmfw! AS far as finding shit on vinyl. It has not really become a big deal for me anymore. I got out of it because the price of vinyl and because i could not find the tracks i wanted and i had to go to the cutting house and have a fucking dubplate pressed. That got old real fast and uber expensive. So if i cant find the track i want on vinyl i have no problem rinsing it out threw serato. Its still vinyl :)

He sucks also. Ive had dinner with him many times. He pretty much just plays death threw the speakers. All his cds that hit the stores are done in protools. Also he usally gets so fucking drunk that his mixes get affected. Hence why he is only seen as a ok dj anywhere else in the world.

Good point! Although a 320k mp3 sounds good too

Yes sir you can. I take it you speakers have a headphone style jack. Hit up radio shack and get a adapter with a female headphone jack on 1 end and the red and white male rca's on the other. Make sure its stereo also. Plug it into your master line on your mixer and turn it up :)

                Have you checked out hybridized.org?

I assume you have heard HC's 10-07 Essential Mix. If not, I can put a link up.
                Its ridiculous.
My all time fav artist is LTJ Bukem, and then Mark Farina's Mushroom Jazz series coming a close second. Nu:Tone is pretty dope, but HC is god as far as new D&B goes. I remember listening to his April 2003 Essential Mix live, and completely freaking out for about 2 hours.

I burned both your sessions to cd tonight, and went for a 3 hour cruise of the city. Fantastic stuff man - good selections, really well put together... you've got quite an ear. I really enjoyed the house mix, and my dnb experience thus far had been some dieselboy, ak1200 (years ago) and dj dara. I really liked the more expansive, spacious, and less stressed feel of this mix.

Please post more when you record again!

Will do man! Thank you very much for the feedback. IT means alot to me. I try my best to put proper music on the cds so that people can hear quality tunes. I also like taking people down diffrent musical avenues and letting them know what they are listening too. Hence why i talk threw the mix sometimes. If you have any questions about a track name or where to find it just ask me. Ill be more than glad to share. Plus i love music and theres nothing better than sharing it with people. Nice e30 btw!
