I didn't ask why you had a roth IRA, I had assumed by your mention of an IRA that it was a non-Roth IRA. IMO Roth IRA is worlds better than the traditional IRA and it seems that we agree.

This is ridiculous. I'm not going to scan one of my paystubs for some dudes on the internet.

Also, I'm not a rad tech. I work in the business office for MH outpatient imaging. What do you do and where do you work? Shoot me your resmue - we're growing fast and need some people :D

Personally having a Roth IRA, I'm kinda confused about what a 'fully funded IRA's (4 years)' is, why you would have 2 of them (unless one is your wife's, then why are you claiming it as your own?), and why wouldn't you go with a Roth IRA over a traditional IRA?

Tip: If you plan to make as much money as you said, you should convert them to a Roth IRA to allow your investment to grow tax free.

My Aunt was once an X-ray tech ... then she got married and had kids.

BTW, you work in the health care industry but don't know what a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) is? WOW.

I know what an HMO is - but an HMO company? There is no company that produces HMO's only - however there are insurance companies that sell hmo, ppos, pos, medicare replacement, whatever. There is no such thing as an "hmo company". Believe me - I have to deal with health insurance every freaking day.

You will not work through medical school if that is what you mean by "work through the rest of school". It is not possible, you will fail.

Six figures my ass. Nice work trying to sound cooler than you are.

I can bet you will try to continue on your way to be a "radiologist" and fail, and just be the guy who will scan my balls.

did I say I was going to be an XR tech? absolutely not. That's the first certification - which is BS. MRI and PET CT get paid 6 figures. Like I said though - this is just so I can work through the rest of school.

Lance - I want you to compare yourself with me so you can STFU - because I will win.

    I'm 22

I own my own brand new house that was built for me

    I have 2 fully funded IRA's (4 years) yeilding 12% or more

I've got enough set aside to live off of for 2 years.

My and my wife combined make nearly 3x what the average college grad makes - and we both pay for our school in cash!

If you're doing better than me - let me know. If not, STFU now

psloan, you are all high and mighty about being an X-ray tech and trying to mention radiologist's salary? goddamn, you are a fucking loser.

I'm getting certified in XR, Fluoro, Nuc Med, CT, MRI and PET CT first with a bachelors - then I'll continue my education while working for the hospital.
