Who has the best price for a Canon Rebel XTi kit? Amazon has them for about $600. Any better prices out there? Just helping my girlfriend xmas shop for me:) Also, should I expect to have to buy a battery and card? Thanks,
B&H has a good price. Their shipping is fast and reasonably priced, and there's no sales tax. That can be a huge savings right there. Can't remember whether Amazon charges sales tax.
It comes with one battery. Buy some spares from www.sterlingtek.com, they are too cheap to pass up.
Get a few 1gb cards too, don't get 1 huge card. If you lose it or something happens to it, better to lose 1gb of data rather than 4. The camera comes with no memory card.
Sweet, thats what I needed to know. I appreciate it.
Wow, $615 + $12.25 shipping to my mail box in Buffalo. I may just have to buy one now, especially at that price with parity. FYI the XTi with lens kit sells up here for about 750 when on sale, and tack on 14% tax. BTW, can anyone recommend a good camera bag for a XTi? Basically I want to know the model number so that I can buy it online.
I got everything on Amazon...it was a great deal and fast shipping. I think I paid $635 to my door. I only bought the body however, since I have 2 lenses, Canon photo backpack, and 2g memory card. I thought it was a great deal since samys.com wanted $670 just for the body. Get the kit from Amazon...they have the best price that I found.
Take a trip to the Caribbean.
Duty-free.
You can bargain and get the Xti kit with a camera bag or 1GB memory card often for $650; and that was this summer.
They have a rating of 1.74 out of 10. Most people claim it as a fraudulent company. Hope you didn't get ripped off too...
If you DO get a camera expect it to have none of the accessories, and be a grey market camera with no warrantee.
No no i didn't buy anything from them. I called to see if they had the camera in stock to purchase it and they asked me if i wanted the japanese version for $526 or the american version for $799. The jap one would come with the same shit as the american one but it would have a japanese warranty so the camera would have to get sent to japan if it needed service. I hung up. I think I'll either be going through BH or Ritz as they have a package for $799 that comes with both the 18-55 and the 75-300 lens. I am going to call BH tomorrow to see if they are selling the japanese or american version for their listed price.
Also, the only reason that i even thought of them is because my former video and film teacher in HS suggested them as a good place. I have never ordered from them before and i don't think i'll start now. Good looking out though boys.
