Man, i love ADV Riders. There are so many amazing reads on there. If you guys have time, definitely go check some of them out. There are some great Australia ones as well.

That kind of trip is nuts. Absolutely nuts. I know i would never do it to that extreme. I have nothing against ADV riding, especially with my dad, but those guys are nuts :bow:.

Really makes me miss my 640 Adventure :(. Was a good bike, but like he said in the thread, there are some weird aspects of that bike that i never understood. Kickstarter on the left is not fun at all... Compression of a 640 single is RIDICULOUS and push-starting is a bitch. Mind you, he was very creative :up:

If you guys like this tuff, check out the TV show "Long Way Round" with Charlie Bowman and Ewan McGregor (yeah, obi-wan-fucking-kenobi). They ride 2 BMW motorcycles around the world in like 6 months. It's fucking amazing. The book is even better.

I started this in the morning before work and i finally just got to be able to finish it up. What an incredible ride. I would love to be able to do something like that some day.
