Still, it is worth bumping for new guys to read because it is for sure a "Best of Craigslist" nominee. It's even better than he knows waht he's talking, and still posts a crazy ass add.

hahaha...
yea, he finally got the car sold a few months later. Never made it to best of craigslist because bitchy people kept getting us offended and sending us emails about how they wish craigslist was taken seriously. At which point we told them that because it was humorous, people all the way on the east coast were inquiring about buying the car.
Funny story about selling it... My friend finally broke down and installed a radiator, lowered the price a few hundred bucks and got someone to meet him halfway (snoqualmie pass). Dude test drives it for awhile, loves it. So they arrange a time to meet and make the deal. So it happens. Car get sold, end of story.
My friend gets a nasty email and phone call later about how the car is a lemming, and there is a fuel leak and a fire hazard, and the car gets shitty gas mileage and he wants his money back. Well washington has an 'implied as is' unless otherwise noted type of deal on sales. Get a few lawyers to confirm we are in the right, and tell the guy to fuck off. A month passes. The guy calls and apologize "I was overfilling the gas tank, that is why it was leaking out of the tank." I cant even fathom how much excessive topping off he had to do... But wow.
Car is sold.. And I will have another interesting ad posted soon for my E30. Stay tuned.Originally posted by TeaguerFilling an Eta's tank with super unleaded will reach the cars maximum attainable performance level .
Aa a bonus filling the tank will also double any Eta's resale value .Comment
