I saw this thread title and I thought "Are they talking about the skate video?? Nahhhh". Didn't know there were so many of you on this site.
I loved the video. Mike Carrol had my favorite part by far. I wasn't expecting much since he's already been around the block a few times, but holy shit! He's been tearing it up for 10 years and he's still amazing.

You ever skate the skatepark of austin? I love that place. I hear there's a bad ass free concrete park up there too.I saw this thread title and I thought "Are they talking about the skate video?? Nahhhh". Didn't know there were so many of you on this site.

Mike Carrol and Rick Howard both came through.. Rick has been thinking about pulling his pro board, but after his part, he needs to keep it out there.I saw this thread title and I thought "Are they talking about the skate video?? Nahhhh". Didn't know there were so many of you on this site.

Ironically enough - i had to shop there on new years eve. I needed a new deck and no other shop that was open had anything bigger than an 8.
Pretty gay though - they wouldn't let me grip my own fucking board. I took the roll of grip home."We praise or find fault, depending on which of the two provides more opportunity for our powers of judgement to shine."Comment

Have you ever been to any west coast zumiez? everyone i work with is awesome there, we dont care at all about people building their own decks in the store, it happens alot. We cleared out the front rounder in the store one morning and let some little kids skate a bit :)
Oh, and i have those dunks up above, they are a pretty sweet general release shoe. they are called the "decks" and mine have not been worn yet.
