I just saw a video with Robert Plant and the female singer from Sugarland. WTF? The Eagles are singing country now...I guess the cross over to easy money is the draw.

Well, the Eagles always sucked so you can't expect much there.

Yup, even way back when they were Linda Ronstadt's backup band, they were country-ish.

Guess they were to a degree but more of a Pop band not a GAC oriented. They were more VH1 stream.

Well lets toss them out but Robert Plant? Heck for that matter Bruce Springstein has a country band.

The eagles have been "country" longer than they were a "rock" act. Half of them were leftovers from the flying burrito brothers to begin with. As for Robert Plant, you sure he was with the chick from Sugarland? I know he & Allison Krauss just did an album together. Sugarland was doing the country stuff with Bon Jovi, who's also done a "country" album. What's left of Skynard went (more) country, under the name "Van Zant". Kid Rock has pretty much planted his seed in the Seger/Country segment, and so has Sheryl Crow & Jewel with their latest stuff.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWLNk...eature=related - Gotta admit, I can dig Jewel with a twang.
