Dunno if you did this already, but you have to check to make sure that its legal in the state. My girlfriend wanted to get a skunk (they take out the scent glands) a couple years ago but didn't because we were possibly moving to Boston. Its legal to have one in PA but in Mass they don't think to highly of people having skunks.

Foxes are awesome animals and I'd love to have one as a pet but that's not very practical for me. I really want a wolf (if you have an issues you claim it's a mutt ;)) but I already have nearly 30 huskies.
