For hunting things that weigh three times what I do I'd want something with a little more stopping power.

Either that or it was causing problems. I know when I was working in south Texas, I worked with a bunch of guys who would go and kill wild hogs for farmers. Those things do a LOT of damage to crops. My 2.9L Build!

Sorry Source if that offended you. But that is real life. They box the cow up and take a saw like item and slice the throat and allow it to bleed out. Then off to the butcher line where they de-skin (sell for hide) gut (sell for fertilizer) and cut into meat in which goes to Publix or Windixie or what ever your local grocery chain might be.
I posted the video for the hunters here, I did not say it was the coolest video and I would have put it down faster than they did. But most of you on this forum do not and have never hunted in your life. Thats cool but one might have an adrenalin rush after walking up on a size boar like that and having it charge after you felt that a .50ae would put just about anything down and did not. The .50ae is a huge round and with 1600lbs of force it ranks up there with the big guns when hit by one.
I was just amazed as most that it took what looked like 4 rounds to the head area and still lived.
If you have ever been dear hunting, one does not get that close most likely. Few do bow hunting. But dear just do not die when hit. Most of the time you have to track them following the blood trail. I have a .357 that will finish off anything that my 308 did not kill. But again life! Thats just how its done!Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

In ga you need a bit more than a DL to carry a pistol like that, or any pistol for that matter.
If they killed it to eat it awesome. But for me it's like reeling in a huge bass. The animal lived to be that big, let it live. I see no shortage of pork in supermarkets in Tevas or any other state for that matter.
And supporting PETA is stupid. They are one step below terrorists in my opinion. I have no doubt that the ALF is a branch of PETA.Yours truly,
Rich
