IPOD User..noobie needs help

I found an Ipod at work last summer and turned it in. Was told to come back during Christmas and if it wasn't claimed I could have it. Well it's sitting on my desk at the moment cause no one claimed it so..

I have the latest version of Itunes but I have ALL my songs in Windows Media Player.

How do I get my Media Player songs into my Itunes library?

open itunes go to the library press ctrl+O then find where the files are stored and press open BTW it may take a long ass time depending how many songs u have.

Browse to the location of where you store your Windows Media Player songs at (by defaults its gonna be in My Music). Open Itunes. Highlight music. GO to your directory and Edit>Select All. Drag and drop into Itunes.

If its all in .wma format, iTunes will convert and take for-fucking-ever like car addict said. Have fun resetting your iPod every 2 weeks or so. Make sure you Disconnect through iTunes software after synchronizing otherwise you run risk of corrupting the drive.

Thanks guys. I actually lost internet service so I wasn't able to respond. I just had to make a huge as Playlist and it worked out.

And...I am not worried about the quality of the IPOD it was free, with a free car you'd expect to have some faults so..same with the IPOD

I recommend you stop using Limewire. Whenever you hear about someone getting busted for downloading music, it's because they were using Limewire.

Limewire is awesome because it shares your shit openly with EVERYONE whether or not you want it too.

Haven't heard that they go after limewire users - but I'm sure the odds of getting caught are much like the odds of getting hit by lightening...There is always the iTunes store, or amazon

there is no way they are doing that why? because peer to peer programs are in no way illegal. what is illegal is the content that they are sharing. therefore the people that run the website are doing nothing illegal unless they are hosting the information themselves they have done nothing wrong. it is the people that upload music and movies and tv shows that are making it illegal.

But they are finding loopholes since the trackers know what is being sent. They are facilitating piracy.
