Calling all Aussies!!!!

My brother is going to be in Australia/New Zealand for 3 months and will be all over the place. I have 2 favors to ask.

#1: He needs to rent a car for the time being. I will pay according to the car rented. It can be anything that runs well. Even better if it is an E30. He's a great driver I can attest to that. money is not a problem.

#2: He will be all over Australia/New Zealand and I would be eternally grateful if people here would offer up a place for him and a friend. He's going around Australia going to all the great surfing sites (thats his thing). He just graduated from San Diego State University. He's a standup guy and was the son that never got in trouble. I owe it to him since he has been there for me in my tough times.


I came to r3v because I have a very good impression of the multiple Aussies on here. It would be great if you guys could help me out with this. Thanks in advance. He is a great person and will likely become a good friend if you hang out with him. He's just like me, but.........smarter. haha

What a transition it will be from snowy America, to 40*+ (105*f) summer down here haha!

I cant help out with a place or a car, still living with my parents, and I need my e30 like i need air.
But there's plenty of relatively cheap places along the coast, so long as you don't mind staying in less than 5 star accommodation.

As for a car, Budget rentals, Avis car rental, are a couple of popular ones,
or else, you could pick up a beat ass commodore or some other POS holden for like $500, and resell for bout the same...

Actually, its 70-75 out here in L.A. But Im sure its beautiful there as well. We went back in 1990-1991 to Australia. Absolutely beautiful country.
