I don't get why the mother bailed her son out despite the advice of the step father not to. Staying in jail for a few days would be a good start for the spolied kid to understand the seriousness of his act. Maybe I would have sodomized the mother too...

Step father is 32. The boy raping the 8 year old girl is 18... 14 year age difference between boy and step father. It must be a pretty fucked up family with a lot of hanger floating around. Things don't happen by "chance". There are usually signs that can tell about a boy's mental equilibrium. The father's reaction is just as insane and the boy's. So is the mother's.

I don't mind one bit that he did that. The kid is obviously not mentally able to control his sex drive. I work for CPS transcribing interviews of children, and I have to hear about this shit every day. And the sad thing is that if the legal system had dealt with it, the kid would have served minimal time, and would be released to do something like that again. Sexual abusers are NOT curable. They'll do it again if given the opportunity.
