    Here's a Vtec powered one.

I'm sure that Hayabusa one is sick the sounds that emanate from it.

The Mini already had a VTec motor. Adam, the owner, wanted for some more. I drove the car last summer at Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant, it was fun. Over the winter he ordered the Hayabusa kit and almost finished the project. He also went from 10" to 13" wheels. That's +3.....

Have you checked the short test ride (by night)? Pump up the speakers' volume. Feels like a supecharged R/C scale model.

That car is going to be insane when finished. Sick find Lee, thanks for sharing.
Hemingway said it best. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games.”

Guys, a hi-po Mini is inded very fun. But keep in mind that this car has special handling characteristics. It is short and has 4 wheels almost in a perfect square. It rwquirs special talent to go fast. I was myself very surprised.

                        Smokes a Ferrari?

Either way sounds like a good time, mini/busa

Calling something VTEC powered, is like calling your bmw VANOS powered, retarded.

BTW looks like it was SOHC engine in there first, the one above is DOHC probably 160-170hp model...

I would be shocked if this wasn't a repost, but i figured i would throw it out there. This car is one of the coolest things i've ever seen in my life. tube frame, composite bodied, mid-engine mini. dude built in one half of a two car garage. It was in grassroots motorsports like a year ago. check out the build diaries, design and video.
