Saw it tonight, pretty good movie actually. Didn't mind the shaky camera though. What was the "minor detail"? A prequel would be amazing! Ending was crappy but I guess to be expected.

I missed the minor detail when I saw it today. I was walking out and people were like, dude did you watch where I told you, explains the whole movie, and how it happend. Bullshit I say. I know what the detail is, and it doesnt explain shit.
Hemingway said it best. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely games.”

I'll somewhat agree. The marketing definetly was a lot better than the movie. I still wouldn't call it a bad movie though.

I'm not saying it does.... all it answers is one basic question. The best part is how people swear it's the reason for a sequel even though the footage in Coney Island was recorded before the whole movie took place. :p

All I want to see is a 2nd movie where Godzilla and Ultraman tag-teams Cloverfield.

                *spoiler below* highlight to read:

Something falls out of the sky and into the water in the last scene. Apparently it's a satellite.

If you watched the youtube low quality ending, I checked it, and its too much of a detail to see. I'll PM you.

Edit: Or someone will just blur out the answer ^^

If you have not seen the movie do NOT click this link .http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbnvjSZmO_4

This helps out a lot with explaining the movie if you thought it sucked. I paid 5 dollars to go see it and thought it was terrible! I read up more when I found out about the things I missed and they changed my mind.

That definitely helped clear up a little, not much. I think another movie is needed...

I thought this movie was bad. I'm not a big sci-fi movie guy, so that could be part of it. It wasn't so much the sci-fi part that made it suck though. I thought the monsters were cool. It was mainly the acting that made it suck. FAKE!!

                              Cool idea, poor application.
