This is true. Gotta look at the positives. ;)Actually, thats pretty good. If you get a big refund, it means you loaned the government money for free the last year and they are paying you back. If you owe too much, they will penalize you for not paying enough during the year. You want to be as close to zero as possible at the end of the tax year.Comment

Technically I'm a self-employed contractor for CPS, so I get nothing with held from my checks. But the beauty of that is I can claim my mortgage, utilities, cable, and anything I buy for my computer. Without those deductions, I'd be paying the government 4-5 grand at the end of each year.
