My friend Jesse sent me a text about this today, I was seriously bummed. Ledger was a great actor, and just from the trailer alone, it's clear he's going to totally reinvent the Joker. And if the buzz about the movie before his death was any indicator, the movie is going to be HUGE now.

And to those making Brokeback jokes, laugh all you want. It was an amazing movie, and his character was very well played by Ledger. Those who were/are too afraid to see it missed a hell of a great movie.

And filming on The Dark Knight has been completed for quite a while.

Apparently the NY Times retracted the Mary Kate Olsen apartment claim.

EDIT: Apparantly he was at Mary Kate Olsen's appartment and lindsay lohan was found there as well. Mary Kate's housekeeper found the body surrounded by pills. Said to be OTC sleeping pills.

Every TMZ contributor just blew their wad.

I still can't believe he's actually dead. I really liked Heath Ledger. I haven't been bummed out about a celebrity dying in a while, but I don't think he was really a "celebrity" in the current sense of the word. I was stoked to see him as the Joker before, now I really can't wait to see it.

Wow as a current ambien prescription user this is another reason why I only take half a pill. His mental condition sound similiar to what I went through, too bad his doctor's didn't take care of him better with prescribing his mental health.
