Stupid thiefs

Somebody broke into my work last night and stole about 2000 dollars worth of tools and like 5 or 6 cats off of cars, some customers, some personal. We just got done with the police. The tools were Snap-On hand tools that one of the guys that I work with had in a box on his cart. This fucking sucks. Luckily they didn't take anything off of my car or any of my tools otherwise I would be out for blood, but I am still pissed none the less.
I think in the next few days we are going to be taking turns staying here at the shop and baiting them to get them to try it again. We've got more deadly weapons here than you could shake a stick at, and we're in a small town and have the cops on our side. This is going to get interesting.

Goodluck with your plan. When we had problems with kids egging cars in front of our house, we made it a point to rotate shifts staying outside at night with the paintball gun to get the bastards, but the plans never really materialized.

watch ebay for scrap cats. id also contact any scrap metal places since you say its a small town. most thieves are fucking stupid and will hang themselves by their idiotic actions

Yea, we've contacted all of the people that we sell our scrap to and all the local pawn shops letting them know that if anything shows up to give us a call. I've put word out on the local forum, if anybody can track shit down, it will be them.
I've got a feeling it may be some of the "guys" in the apartments next door, but I'm going to wait to see.

the same thing happened to a local bmw garage here in oklahoma. It happened to them 2-3 times, and on the 4th time they were finally caught. when they were caught they had like 8 cats, lots of aluminum pieces and random metal that they were probably going to sell for scrap. Hope you find those suckers and make them pay.

They hit the Chevy dealership here in SLO twice in 2-3 weeks. So its not too far fetched to happen twice. And as for the cats, those are long gone. We get $150-$200 per used cat from the scrap guy, for Euro cats. They have more trace uranium, or some element used to make bombs or radioactive shit. But I wuold watch for the tools to surface on craigslist or egay.

We had that happen at my old work (Junk Yard) some people jumped the fence and took a bunch of tools. Then used the tools to steal cats from cars, must of taken them along time to do it cause of the rust we have here in MN
