Even if the kids wouldn't have been able to get into that airstrip, they probably would've done something like that on the highway.

I didn't even think of that, kinda like the video of the touring slamming into the fuel truck or whatever it was in europe. Imagine had they slammed into a greyhound full of nuns on their way to a nunnery convention.

That and we have more lawyers then anything else it seems in the US. They get the "everybodys" or "stupid people" to think sueing is the only road. Why do you think it cost's over $400,000.00 a year to deliver babies? I will tell you it has little/nothing to do with payouts for malpractice, but for the lawyers to sue.

You do know how lawsuits work, right? Have you not heard of the guy that won a lawsuit for cutting his arm open whilst breaking and entering? Six figure payoff from the Homeowners Ins. I wouldn't be surprised just how many defendants this will have.

I drive quick where and when I can, and I've only had two speeding tickets in about 7 years. Both of which were relatively minor, and managed to be able to take traffic school for both. No insurance hikes! woo

A lawsuit against the owner/operator of the airstrip is pretty stupid. This case is kind of like someone racing up and down your driveway to your house and crashing. How can the home owner be liable for that?

The biggest target for a lawsuit will be the driver's dad, who provided his twit of a son with a 500hp car to race around in. His son had 4 traffic tickets in the last 2 years (the only 2 years he's been driving!). Giving a kid with a bad driving record a 500hp car is just negligent.
