Who's done a POD move? Or used POD's?

I am moving within the next two months but I don't know where yet, so I was debating using a POD style move. That way I don't have to pack my belonging in a truck and move them from one storage facility to another.

I think the only downfall it the time it takes in transport.

I did pods, for my business. The only downside is that you have to wait to get it delivered.

that's the least of my issues, been living out of a suitcase for 7 months. Just one of lifes up and downs and really can't get to much lower unless I go unemployed.

Cost related to Uhaul or a Ryder truck?

I don't think you have a better option in that case.

That's what I was thinking as I will not have space where I'm presently at for my stuff. More I lean in this direction the easier it sounds.

Send a PM to he who must not be mentioned on this board, he used them to move - had a few less than complimentary things to say about their billing methods.

IIRC you can keep a POD at their facility for "Storage" usage too, that in and of it self if you have the need for storing your property would make it a no-brainer.

Try some of their competitors if you can...

IIRC storage was really cheap for the smaller "POD" that we got. Like 25 bux a month or so...
