This is huge in the chem/physics world. All my chem and physics teachers seem to be talking about it every class. I'm interested to see what they find out when they are done...

Yeah - it's actually really scary. Also, the idea of them producing anti matter is frightening.

It's certainly very interesting though. I saw an article on it several months ago when it was just starting to be built, then forgot about it.

Are you talking about strange matter? It's pretty widely accepted that if this were possible, then it would have happened already.
