Not yet - but man I could have used it in my old apartment.Originally posted by Matt-Bhey does anyone know anyone who gets upset and makes electronics? -
I used a similar service over the summer. I have Cincinnati Bell (GSM) and got a free 3 month trial after buying the Nokia 6086, the only Wi-fi phone they had at the time.
The service works great, the reception was perfect. The problem is the limited availability of good phone choices. Also, Wi-fi EATS BATTERY like no other. Also, I didn't work with my N router for some reason.
I could have chosen to continue the service for an additional $10 a month on top of my regular monthly fee. I chose not to because I don't go over on my minutes all that often.Comment

I'm glad to hear it worked well for you! It seems to disconnect (from the router) me randomly throughout the day. Mad frustrating. I have the Blackberry Curve. I have very little or next to nothing of a signal in my castle of a complex so no choice. I actually troubleshoot this shit at T-Mobile. Many a pissed off customers call in and the reality of it is, it just doesn't work all that great for some people. What's even more frustrating is we can't put a finger on what really makes the difference between some customers and others. Seems to be a matter of interference i.e. others within the vicinity on the same router channel and or electronics in the house. I could go on and on....!I used a similar service over the summer. BTW, regarding choice, T-Mobile has the Nokia 6086, Samsung T409 and Katalyst, and the Blackberry Curve.
