You guys have to get this!

AR Wizard 3. I just bought the ful version. Mad simple and straight forward. Play anything, click record, select the location, name it and hit record. I've been meaning to get this SW for a while! MP3 or Blackberry aux'd into the face of my Sony FTW! The rest is history...

'AR Wizard 3', you can find a trial version on download.com. Full version is only 25. It allows you to record whatever comes through your PC's soundcard into MP3 format.

          ok, here's two examples:

me and my bro trip out on random movie scenes, for instance "this is SPAARRTTTA!!!!!", find it on youtube, open AR Wizard, click record, name it, click record and click play on the youtube video. It will record directly to the folder you select and right into MP3 format.

Ex 2, I have house streaming/playing on di.fm right now and have been recording straight for 46 mins now. Transfer the file(s) onto your phone or MP3 player and rock on...

It will record whatever sound(s) playing on your PC into MP3 format.

Windows sound recorder works too, and it's free. Just select stereo mix as the input on your soundcard if it supports it.
              tasty

I tried something like that but no dice. Even then, what format does it record too? This app records straight to MP3 format.

Um... there are several free programs out there that do this.

I personally use the sound editor that comes with Roxio.

And Windows Sound Recorder will record to any format that you have a codec for. So for me, basically ANYTHING. And it will work, all you have to do is set the recording source to "Stereo Mix" as source said.

This is great for things like Pandora that let you stream, but not record.

Ya, If you want all the music to be compiled into one massive mp3 file with no song names or separation.

there is also a free program call Mp3MyMp3 that does this for free too.

Record audio to MP3 or WAV, schedule internet radio recordings and more, if you can hear it you can record it!
