Arachnaphobia, big time. I am fucking TERRIFIED of spiders. I make my wife kill them. And really, it's just about any insects that freak me out.

The funny thing is, half the time, I'm pulling wire under houses for a living.

I also absolutely hate bugs that I can't identify. During water polo practice I would always see june bugs dead in the water and had no idea wtf it was and would just freak.

Am I the ONLY person here who's afraid of cockroaches?

Here's a funny fact. I'm 6"8 (202cm) and weigh 300+pounds (140kg).... And the fuckers always run AT you, too.

I once got divebombed by a flying one, motherfucker scared the shit out of me. Not to mention getting one on my towel as I was drying my ass, or one on the ceiling right over my head whilst taking a shower.

Worse one ever, though, was this: I was playing Counterstrike, and the room was pitch black. So this guy throws a flashbang at me, and my screen lights up, and there's a roach on the wall less than a foot away. Needless to say, I didn't enter my room for a good week. :D

I'm actually cool with spiders, as I have this conviction in my head that killing them is bad Karma, so I think to myself that by keeping them around is a good thing...

I have a massive fear of large enclosed buildings, specifically, being really high up in them and looking at the ceiling, it makes me feel like i'm about to fall off whatever i'm on and hit the ground far below.

It's not a fear of heights, as i've worked as an abseiler doing window repairs and washing off 40 storey buildings with no trouble whatsoever.

Yea it has gotten a bit worse. But its always been pretty bad. My mom fucking decorated my room with clowns when i was a baby too. She wondered why i always hated going to bed. But as a psychologist, the clown-phobia thing exists because clowns have an exaggerated archetype of the perception of the human face as it exists in the brain. The distortions are sort of confusing to children and cause them to be frightened. The fears just tend to stay with these people in to adulthood. THat and watching "It" didnt help shit either.

Add speedbumps to that one (ytf do they have to be so high!!??!!)

And I have this weird phobia of water I can't see through.
I used to scuba dive in Okinawa (usually VERY clear water), and there was a shelf (going from 30ft to 100+)that we would have to go over in order to do our deep qualification. I couldn't see the bottom, and I couldn't see the other guys in my group, so I kinda freaked a little. I felt like I was jumping off a cliff, like as soon as I went over the side, I would "fall". Totally irrational.

Another one is wreck diving. I love going in the sunken ships, but going into underwater rooms where lots of people go, there's usually a pretty good amount of air trapped in the room. That freaks me the hell out too. Our instructor was kinda joking when he said that "our head would explode" if we surfaced in there. That keeps me the hell in the water.
