Dream Interpretation?

Last week on consecutive nights, I dreamt that Iran bombed America starting WW III. Then the next night, my girl and I were at the Zoo and all the lions and tigers went ape shit, broke out of their areas and started killing everyone they could catch.

A few nights ago, I had an interesting dream

My dream started out with me on a narrow cobblestone street and in my thoughts, I was in Germany. And I was very happy to be there. There were small shops all around me and people were staring at me. I was there with a one-way ticket and only US dollars. I entered a store and (somehow) befriended the store's clerk and owner.

After talking to them for a while, they decided it was time to close up shop and then I accidently knocked over a toaster causing a fire. At that time, I ran out of the store onto the empty dark streets feeling alone. But I felt I needed to do something.

I sort of take dreams seriously and feel like there is reason to explore this. And no, not to take a trip on the Autobahn or see BMW HQ, but a true purpose. Anyone care to chime in?

alright, dream analysis isn't really my thing, because it isnt really valid, however if i had to make my best guess; the Germany reference probably does actually have something to do with this forum. Everyone here is always talking about Nurburgring, or some other aspect of German society. So my guess is the German reference is a manifestation of an environmental subconscious stimulus.
Knocking the toaster over...could have something to do with your perfectionism...in that you hate more than most to fuck up. Possibly you don't like disappointing others because of the fear of abandonment, which would be where the feeling of being in the dark streets alone would come from. that would be my best analysis.

Dreams are generally a random collection of thoughts and images gathered over the past couple of days - after which stream of conciousness kicks in. Rarely do otherwise hidden feelings/emotions manifest themselves in dreams. In short - dream analysis is nonsense.
