What's wrong with watching someone die? Is it a sin? Am I disrespecting his family? I dont understand what the big deal is. 150,000 people die everyday. And guess what? There were probably some people somewhere watching it happen live. Well this one sounds kinda interesting, not something you really see here, whats wrong with expanding my life experiences by watching it? Maybe one day I'll get to see one live, maybe my own, maybe yours.

What about his beliefs and morals?

What's your argument exactly? The execution part you're good with, but the posting the link drove you over the edge?

That's what it sounds like, and if that's the case..... that's nothing short of bizarre.

"this doesn't have any place on this forum"

The reference of you and Mr Anderson was only that, he's the one that makes the decision of what is permitted or not on this forum. Who are you to make that decision?

As for calling me less grounded, then you are truly clueless. and Ill refrain from making personal assumptions.

Again I never made you or anyone else watch. Thank you for the bump so others can view what you say does not have a place on the forums!

Im not afraid to watch it. Its just that i think that it is in poor taste to post it. Thats my primary argument with this entire thread. And yes you are right about seeing someone that you know and love die versus someone that is unknown die. They are completely different. I was alluding to the reference that "everyone should see someone die" posted by vdubbin. And as for my fragile psyche... my psyche is not in question here. I was referring to the human psyche in general, not just mine. Its simply unhealthy to witness an act of this magnitude and revel in the moment.

Have you even watched it? You should watch it before you start spouting off your opinions, that no one happens to care about I might add.

Ok i misunderstood you about the Mr. Anderson thing. I thought you were making a gross assumption of my personal beliefs by implicating that Josh and my moral views were skewed. And I am in no way trying to imply that I have the power to keep people from viewing this. I was simply asserting my own personal opinion on the matter of posting what i would believe to be inappropriate content. and for the less grounded remark, lets chalk that one up to the misunderstanding aforementioned. I don't know you well enough to call you less grounded than myself. My whole argument with you is based solely on the content that you posted.

Who said ANYTHING about reveling in the moment? Some, i'm sure, feel some level of satisfaction in that he got what he deserved. But no ones cheering and clapping their hands.

And yes it does serve to set a public example, however how many of the members on R3V are going to blow up a car along with as many people around it as possible? I hardly think that this forum is the target demographic for such a spectacle. Thus why it is inappropriate.
I respect your opinion but some of my brothers in Arms see this shit everyday in the streets of Iraq. Trust me buddy some members here seen worse things that a men getting shot for a crime .....

I cant believe you guys are arguing over the tastelessness of this video.

The real matter here is the fact it is a fucking repost. This is from the Faces of Death video from like 96.

                              Fucking newbs.
