Top Gear returning to BBC America on DirectTV

Good to see they are continuing to yield to public pressure.

Wha-What? Have you got a link that supports this? We've been getting season 8 and 9 repeats on BBC-A, are you saying that season 11 will be broadcast directly to us?

Now we need them to show some good European road racing. How about coverage of the the Nurburgring 24hr race?

probably means season 10. when it started they were still showing 9. so they are half a year behind.

Ah okay, I guess if they go through with this, they will show the episodes from the season that just got over (season 10) and then they may show us the season that UK is getting (season 11).

Yes, I get emails from BBC America as I was ticked when they dropped it intially. I said give it back as did many others.

I also like the new Dr. Who show, that is getting another season. Yes repeats but DVR works great.

It's not just on DirecTV, I also have it with my digital cable package. God bless the DVR.

So does this mean the current-run season will be aired, or are you going to get 1-2 y.o. shows like BBC America on Comcast cable?

I'm moving in a couple weeks, and I think I'll go DSL & Directv - Have the big Comcast package (well, digi SD cable & cable internettz) now, but I had SAT in the past & I really liked it better than cable.

I'd like the cable internet, but if it's current run TG that's good enough reason to jump ship.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

Probably, because the cable provider we have here (BendBroadband) does everything that Comcast does, their menu is even exactly the same.

Bit-Torrent is where it's at. I've had every single episode on my computer for a LONG time now. Haven't watched quite all of them though. lol

My Top Gear folder is currently 34.3GB with 96 files in it. :)

This is the troof, I've only got the last four seasons though. I have, however, watched everyone of them though.
