Viruses and bots?

I've got AVG 7,5 (not the free one) on my laptop, and the startup is ungodly slow. I have to stop the daily hard drive scans just to open a program. I have to say that I haven't had any viruses though, some adware here and there, but that's relatively easy to rid the computer of. Before this I was using a free (one year) version of Norton something or other and had a vundo virus on the laptop on numerous occasions. Obviously, it being free, makes one wonder if the scans are as thorough as the paid subscriptions. Has anyone else had the same experience with the paid subscription of AVG Internet Security (ver. 7,5)?- Trey

Moreover, the PC users feel that they can make completely unfounded claims such as the one below, without referencing any sources at all.

Please direct me to where I said that. OH RIGHT, you can't. Because I didn't. You just assumed it.
The cartoon is funny, I was making a joke. Everyone calm the fuck down before I lock this thread like all the other Mac vs. PC threads.Last edited by Jand3rson; 02-22-2008, 05:14 PM.Comment
