    whats the deal with the ford probe?

    Ive never seen so many turbo'd probes on coilovers and big brake kits in my whole life.. Where you ask? here in texas on the Army base.

    so i googled it, one article says the 24v is phenomenal and the chinese will be trying to copy it for years..
    its still one of the most irrelevant cars every produced as far as im concerned. but just in case there is something i dont know. let me know. ohh yeah...
    the one i saw today.. 240.000 miles....... na 24v

    I had one. For the price they are good cars...considering they are really Mazdas.

      I actually have seen a few of the 2nd gen model that were modded pretty heavily, and they looked pretty damn good, and had the performance to match.

      God awful name for a car, but the 2nd gen bodystyle really isn't a bad looking car.

        That car has a very strange following. I remember about 5-6 mos ago, I was driving down a road and I discovered a Ford Probe meet at a Sonic Drive-In.

        Granted, there were only like 6 or 7 cars, but I hadn't see that many together ever in my life.

          The turbo probes will give you a run for your money if the tuner knows what they are doing, if not its teh garbage.

            The Future Mustang....Car and Driver and most of the magizines said it was the future of the rwd pony cars. Till Ford caved under just pressure so not to have the pos as there top of line car.

            I would have rather had a Xr4Ti than a fwd Probe.

                i have owned two a 95gt and a 96gt. they are a lot of fun to drive and will sneak up on you. check out this site for more info. http://www.probetalk.com

                  I had a 1993 PGT. For the price, it was a nice quick sporty car. Parts, however, were stupid expensive.
