Well, there's an 11km long mountain road here in Lebanon, and one of my best friends has a modified JDM Type R... So I call him up and tell him we're going for a hillclimb challenge.
So we launch together, I am ahead in 1st and 2nd, he shoots ahead in 3rd. (250bhp Type R, 218bhp Euro M30). After that, in 4th gear, I crept up and overtook him (torque kicks ass, baby!!) and kept him back throughout all the turns and got to the finish line 3 car lengths ahead.
Both cars have some serious suspension work done to them, but my car is running on 2 year old Federals whilst his is running on 6 month old Toyo T1R's.
Needless to say he was beyond impressed, as was I. I had no idea my car can maintain a great line through the curves, and was so stiff and responsive.
Hats off to all E30's out there, and never be afraid to take anyone down on the track, because our 20 year old beaters have tons of life left in 'em! :D
Drive safe, people.. :)
