You can sit in the cockpit of 977 at Boeing Field Museum of Flight.

This is me flying into KRAL a few weeks ago with my 1st generation GoPro Hero recording (hence the low quality shot) If I remember correctly winds from 360 @ 20 gusts up to 28. Overall a fun day of flying.

          The aircraft is a 1974 C172M

Here is a video I filmed/edited on behalf of our squadron for the C-2's 50th anniversary of its first flight. Yours truly flying the 'ball' around 5:48...Check it out:

50 years ago today the SR-71 flew for the first time.

What I'd give to see one fly again.

Notice the F-111 in the background as a chase plane. Only 2 KC-747 were built and both were delivered to Iran.

Can you imagine the ground effect of floating this down the runway?

Its Cecil, the sea sick sea serpent. The only remaining XB70. Paint would fly off in huge amounts.

Yeah sister ship is now inside building 5 at USAF Museum.

Here is a neat way to fly in a spy. Nothing new though

                          Wonder where that is?

DUDE, that's killer! I come from a huge family of pilots, but the only one that ever made aircraft carrier landings was my uncle that flew Phantoms back in the day. You sir, are a bad ass for putting something like that down on moving runway w/ such ease, cheers!

Since we are on the topic of the XB70, I found some more pics.

And an artist's rendering of super sonic flight for the masses.

This is a pretty good video featuring the fastest piston engined aircraft in the world.
