Pop/Soda/Coke... what do you call it?

Americans are the only people who call it pop. Soda for everything, Coke for Coke. Why the hell would you call Sprite ( or anything else ) coke?

Thats like calling any car a merc, including your bmw. lol.

I used to call it coca cola, or simply coke when I was back home. We called soda for unsweetned carbonated water.
