......and "beverage" seems to be a catch-all term for anything with alchohol in it - at least here in WA.
So unless you drink rum-n-Coke when ever you have a soda, "beverage" will get you a funny look if you order it early in the day here.Leave a comment:

I'm PNW, but I spent time as a kid with a bunch of 1st gen American Italians, dumb luck in my little neighborhood as a kid. They all called it 'soda' - so that's what I picked up, even though it seems everyone around me (imm. family too) says 'pop'. whatever.Leave a comment:
