I like airplanes. I've had the distinctly bad luck of wrenching on them since 1985, they kinda grow on ya (like warts). Anyway, this is the Red Bull MiG17. Good looking bird, pik taken over the Jones Beach (NY) Airshow. Just thought I'd share it FWIW.

I know that Jet is old as hell, but I always loved the look of the MiG 17.

I love the mig 17's a lot too, and I love how they have the Soviet symbols all over it.

I'd love to fly one of those. I hear their engineering is ridiculously simple, making them somewhat affordable compared to your american (sabre/phantom) equivalent. They are pretty maneuverable too at sub-sonic speeds.
