Tell you what, Ray...go find some Lloyd Jones, some Tower of Power, maybe some Love Dogs...buy your Mom a copy of Boz Scaggs' "Come On Home" and get a listen.
Let me know what you think. If that type of stuff you posted is your native music choice, at least you will have something to fall asleep to.

No need to take it so personally, what I said was totally tongue in cheek, but I knew what I posted would draw that response from you.
My music collection is as varied as it is immense, so no need to pigeonhole me
usually to get to sleep I'll listen to the Moonlight Sonata, 1st Movement: Adagio sostenuto, asleep like clockwork before the second movement, perfect :o (not implying of course, that all classical music will put me to bed - far from it).
Oh hey man, no personal attack felt, nor did I think one implied. If you like Moonlight Sonata to go to sleep to, check out Suzanne Ciani "Pianissimo", I bet you will love it.
I have everything in my music collection from Japanese Jazz to Hawaiian, blues, lots of different jazz, country, folk, opera, classical...even mainstream hard rock like Tool and Korn, even though I truly detest it. The brunt is 60/70/80/90s "pop" stuff, but everywhere up and down the scale.
My favorite is when someone say they "listen to everything" and I bust out some Manhattan Transfer or some Glenn Miller...of course, they are like "WTF is that?"
