    One year in America!

    Hi buddies,

    I want to travel one year to America after school to improve my english and first of all to see a lot of America. Above all I would like to drive a V8 ^^ Cadillac or so.

    But I don't know how to do it. Does anyone have some ideas, how to manage it?

    Thank you all! :-)

      Step 1 - Fly to mexico or canada
      Step 2 - Walk right on over
      Step 3 - have a baby here
      Step 4 - Rejoice.
      Step 5 - Cut a hole in the box
      Step 6 - Put your junk in that box
      Step 7 - Make her open the box
      Step 8 - Utilize Medicaid

      rock solid.

          Hmm, this was a serious question ... because I'm looking for an alternative to Au Pair. And I think it isnt't so easy to get the green card. Also you have to think about money ... how to pay it, I'll need a job there.

          It's nevermind where to go. I would prefere Washington, Oregon or Idaho.

            While your post count is so low, let me inform you on what goes on here. We turn what were meant to be serious questions, into big jokes that get so side tracked, we forget what the initial question was. Thus the dick in a box comment lol. That is R3v.

              I would definitely reccomend Washington or Oregon, the Pacific Northwest is a beautiful region. And we have tons of E30's!

                  @jflip2002

                  Sorry, but I'm not so often online here, so I haven't so many posts, but I'll change it.

                  @Mr.Anderson

                  I bought a license plate from Oregon for my E30. :-D ;-) So I have a little bit America evertime by my side.

                  @Turf1600

                  Idaho seems also to be great. I like these north-west regions. Magnificent!

                    I would by an open-ended round trip ticket when you fly out here. Also, save some money to live for the first month or so as well. Since you have the open-ended ticket you always know you can get home if things aren't working out like you hoped.

                    PNW is a great place to be. Fill your bags with Euro parts and you should be covered for a few months rent.

                        No problem I can manage it, if you want. Maybe I'll visit Vancouver before ... Nickelback :mrgreen:

                        The idea with Canada is great, but isn't it illegal, because I haven't any entry permit?

                          Back in 1969, Paul McCartney was how he got to America.

                          He said "We went to Greenland and took a left"

                              What does it mean with real "fake" America? LA doesn't interest me so much ... there is too much tourism.
