I didn't follow the link, but it sounds similar to the ratemyprofessor site that lets students rate their profs so people know what to expect from them.

Seems like a good idea to me. If they're cool cops, then they don't have anything to worry about. Otherwise, they deserve the ridicule.

What's the problem? Isn't that just like www.ratemyplumber.com or www.ratemymechanic.com? A simple listing of professionals with, perhaps, their licence number, and appreciation of their professionalism and service. The good cops know they've done a good job. The "bad lieutenants" are probably the ones who are currently panicking.

Jesus kid, get a clue. I have had experience with some bad police work, but I know that they've got a very difficult job and I can at least give them the respect they deserve for that. I'm also smart enough to realize that I've only been arrested for things that were my fault; they didn't make me do anything.

90% of cops take their authority way to far. I got pulled over and arrested a couple of months ago for "DUI" (notice the quotes). The guy said he could smell it on my breathe. They searched me and my car. Made my girlfriend get out of my car and its 10 degrees outside and they put me through the ringer with field sobriety tests. I passed all of them. Yes I had been drinking, but a beer after eating sushi doesnt classify in my book as alcohol consumption. I still had my fucking blinker on at the stop light when I got pulled over too!

So I get taken to jail after denying a breathalizer and blood test. I ended up agreeing to a breathalyzer once I arrived in jail and I blew under the limit. So they took me home. My girlfriend had to walk home in the fucking cold.

And while on the way to jail, the fucking cop ran every stop sign he saw, and had the throttle on the floor in his impala. He told me to hold on while im fucking hand cuffed sliding around on their shitty plastic back seats and I'm hitting my head on the window and shit. 60 in a 35 to take me to jail is un-fucking-acceptable in DOWNTOWN on a Saturday night. Ridiculous man. I was curteous and polite regardless. I walked clean with NO CHARGES after he let me go. My story is one of many that I know of between all of my friends.

I'm not one of those people at all. I just think you're a moron and you should leave the country. If you do decide to stay and don't adjust your perspective - prepare to work at blockbuster your entire life and scar your kids when the police break into your studio apt and arrest you.
