          Yeah. For a season premiere, that was pretty weak.

          Not to mention that god awful Lewis Black show that followed it. I love Lewis Black. That show sucked ASS. Talk about a sellout.

              Couldn't agree more. I've been a big Lewis Black fan for quite a while and that was a huge disappointment.

                  That HIV episode was a season premiere? I dont watch south park that often, but that episode was not one of the better attempts...

                                          That was kinda funny, but what's really starting to ruin South Park is the whole trying to make fun of whatever current tabloid story is by making up a plot that makes fun of it, by making fun of something similar. The 300 episode was funny, the parodies they do are great. But everytime they do an episode on some kind of thing going on the news, it gets less funny every time. Trey and Matt aren't even hardly involved with the show anymore, and it shows.

                                              Thats what the simpsons and SP has been doing for years though josh, subtly making fun of current events in the media. Lately its just been going downhill. the HIV episode was probably one of the worst episodes ever. My DirecTV DVR records every SP, and i deleted that episode right after. not worth my time to ever watch it again.

                                                  I know what's what they do, and that's what makes them funny. But South Park is the one getting really pretentious about it. The thing that ruins it is the writing staff feels the need to inject their opinion, and try and say how it should be dealt with/recieved/fixed, based on what they think is right. Every episode ends with "hey guys, we should be doing this", "we shouldn't be blaming this", or "we all need to realize that we're not doing this, and we should be". That's the part that's really annoying.
